Ronaldo has first 4 goal game

Cristiano Ronaldo had the first four-goal game of his career to lead Real Madrid over Racing Santander 6-1 in the Spanish league Saturday, and Lionel Messi had two goals in Barcelona’s 2-0 win at last-place Zaragoza.

Ronaldo’s outburst gave him a league-leading 10 goals, while Messi has 12 in 11 games in all competitions this season. Gonzalo Higuain scored in the 10th minute, and Ronaldo added goals in the 15th, 27th and 47th before converting a penalty kick in the 55th. Mesut Oezil scored the final goal in the 63rd. Madrid (6-0-2) leads the league with 20 points, one ahead of Barcelona (6-1-1)

Florent Malouda and Salomon Kalou scored to improve Chelsea (7-1-1) to 5-0 at home and ensure that the defending champion will be in first place after the weekend regardless of what happens in Sunday’s games. Rafael van der Vaart equalized for Tottenham to move Spurs (4-2-3) into third place, at least until Manchester United (3-0-5) plays at Stoke and second-place Manchester City (5-1-2) (4-2-2) hosts Arsenal on Sunday.
