Katy Perry will be guest star on The Simpsons

Katy Perry has signed to guest star on a Christmas episode of The Simpsons dvd.
The popstar will can be found in a live action segment of the popular animated series. The scene will feature Perry interacting with puppets.
The news comes after Sesame Street dvd pulled a segment featuring Perry and Elmo from the next episode.
"In the wake of Elmos terrible betrayal, the Simpsons box set puppets wish to announce they stand felt-shoulder-to-shoulder with Katy Perry," said Simpsons dvd box set producer Al Jean.
Her Simpsons segment was taped before Sesame Street pulled Perry's section of the show.
Perry will sing a song called 'The 39 Days Of Christmas' during the episode, which airs in the US on December 5 on Fox.

MTV has green lit two new series; That Girl Season 1 and Death Valley Series 1. That Girl dvd it's about a 15-year-old who gains notoriety after an accident leads her classmates to think she attempted suicide. That Girl dvd set was created and being EP'd by Lauren Iungerich (ABC Family's 10 Things I Hate About You on dvds).
The docu-style horror action series Death Valley dvd has an ensemble cast that includes Caity Lotz (Stephanie on Mad Men DVD Collection) and Tania Raymonde (Alex from Lost Seasons 1-6 dvd) and "follows the Undead Task Force, which battles zombies, vampires and werewolves that have overrun the San Fernando Valley."

Three cast in Doctor Who Season 6

Three actors are already confirmed for guest roles in the upcoming Doctor Who Series 6.

Child actor Jamie Oram has been cast as Harry in the fourth episode of Doctor Who dvd. Oram has previously appeared in a number of commercials, but the part of Harry will be his first role in television drama.

Actor Daniel Mays will also appear in the episode as Harry's father. Mays is known for his role as Jim Keats on Ashes To Ashes and will appear in forthcoming BBC sci-fi drama Outcasts.

Harry's mother will be played by Emma Cunniffe, who has previously featured in episodes of The Bill and Casualty and appeared alongside former Who star Christopher Eccleston in the 2002 show Flesh and Blood dvd.

A casting call on Spotlight describes the character of Harry as "a troubled young boy who has a nervous disposition". (Written by Camille)

Last year, Taylor Swift had the stage recinded from her by Kanye West. At this year's MTV Video Music Awards, she commanded it.
Not officially released by MTV, the 20-year-old offered an emotionally charged performance of an unreleased song midway through Sunday's telecast.
Her surprise performance began with video clips of last year's infamous stage-crashing, and though West was never officially named, the song's lyrics all but made overt references to him. "Some things you can't speak of," she sang, "but tonight you live it all again."

Ethan Zohn Survivor Star Fight against Cancer

Now that Ethan Zohn's rare form of Hodgkin's lymphoma is in remission, the previous Survivor dvd contestant is savoring every healthy moment, and even took a triumphant run past the hospital where he spent months fighting for his life.
A robust-looking Zohn, all over again sporting the trademark dark curls he lost after chemotherapy treatments, said the experience was exhilarating. Courtney B. Vance Will be on The Closer final season

Brenda Leigh Johnson will almost certainly need a little help in The Closer Season 6, and Courtney B. Vance is the man for the job. Englund will guest star in a Halloween episode, airing next month. And look for some nods to Englund's movie fame, as Ausiello says Englund's character, Dr. Stanley Wheelwright, is "an evil scientist who can make your waking life a nightmare."

Rescue Me Star Maura Tierney Will Battle Cancer

When Maura Tierney returns in the final season of Rescue Me dvd, her character will be battling cancer, the disease Tierney was recently treated for in real life.

Tierney had a tumor removed from her breast in 2009, and dropped out of Parenthood dvd to continue treatment. She has since appeared in New York and Los Angeles productions of the play North Atlantic, and will star as a lawyer in ABC's new legal drama The Whole Truth.

Kanye West writes song for Taylor Swift

Nearly yearly after he ruined Taylor Swift 's MTV Video Music Award acceptance speech, Kanye West is ready to be Mr. Nice Guy. The outspoken rapper says he's written a song for Swift, which he'd like for her to accept. If she's not interested, he says he'll perform it himself. Earlier today, he tweeted an apology and explanation of what went wrong last year.

Camille said: hope Taylor Swift will accept this apoplogy. This is a good chance for both to break the iceberg.
